Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Bi-Product and Wastewater Utility Operator to oversee daily wastewater operations, monitoring control systems, and maintaining records. The role includes loading bi-product trailers, conducting routine inspections, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure process control within discharge limits.

Teamwork and safety are emphasized, with opportunities for training and advancement; strong attention to detail and adherence to policies are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of wastewater operations and plant equipment.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively within a team.
• Experience with process control and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily wastewater and bi-product processes and monitor systems.
• Perform PMs and inspect equipment; log results daily.
• Load and move bi-product trailers and tankers.
• Maintain daily records and paperwork for regulatory needs.
• Assist maintenance when needed and report deficiencies.
• Follow safety, quality, and food safety policies at all times.
