Job summary

Shearer’s Foods, Waterford Plant, is seeking a Waste Water Technician to operate and monitor the plant's wastewater system. Responsibilities include sampling, testing, and ensuring compliance. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm shifts and a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds and work in varying conditions. Candidates with wastewater experience and certification are preferred; teamwork and strong analytical skills are

Qualifications

• Experience in wastewater operations or lab testing is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample collection, preparation, and laboratory testing.
• Adjust processes and equipment based on system analysis.
• Maintain records and provide detailed reports.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and optimize operations.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
