Job summary

Bonita Springs Utilities Inc is seeking an entry-level technician to maintain and repair equipment and facilities. You will operate lift stations, pumps, valves, CCTV, and SCADA components under supervision, ensuring safe and reliable service.

The role emphasizes basic mechanical and electrical work, adherence to safety policies, and timely documentation of readings. A Florida driver's license and ability to obtain a Class A CDL within a year are required, with related certifications pursued

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Florida driver's license and ability to obtain Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within first year.
State of Florida Class C Wastewater Collection certificate within 24 months of hire.
Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Installs, maintains, replaces, and/or repairs electrical and mechanical components and equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment per schedule.
Inspects tools, vehicles, and safety gear; restocks supplies; inventories service vehicles.
Monitors safety conditions at each work site and records readings.
Operates boom/hoist trucks and service vehicles.
Safeguards tools, equipment, and electronics from loss or damage.
Follows BSU and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
Maintains contact via company phone/radio for emergencies.
