Qualifications

- Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
- Certificate requirements for wastewater treatment operations within two years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain wastewater plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
- Record keeping: logs and work orders for maintenance and performance.
- Overhaul pumps, HVAC, and related machinery in the plant.
- Monitor pipelines and tanks for leaks and proper flow; ensure regulatory compliance.
- Train apprentices and supervise trainees as needed.
