Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Project Manager to join our Water Solutions Team. The Project Manager will provide expertise in project delivery and management across multiple water and wastewater projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget results.

You will mentor staff, cultivate client relationships, and lead a team through planning studies, designs, and construction support while aligning with our core values and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• Minimum 8+ years in water/wastewater design, planning, construction management and client business development; climate/flood resiliency experience.
• PE license in Virginia/Maryland required; additional PE certification in other northeast states desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in project delivery including management of client expectations, technical team and financials.
• Ability to develop and manage client relationships and large projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and technical writing skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to expand client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff and provide career guidance with ongoing feedback.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to understand future needs.
• Manage multiple technical assignments and lead teams to meet client objectives within budget and schedule.
• Provide planning studies, preliminary and final designs, program management, and construction services for water/wastewater systems.
• Lead BD pursuits, prepare proposals and build relationships to grow the team.
• Plan staff workload and mobilize teams to achieve career objectives and project goals.
