Job summary

Fehr Graham Engineering & Environmental is seeking a Project Manager to lead wastewater projects in our Aurora, IL office. You will guide technical teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure successful, profitable project delivery.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in engineering, 2+ years in project management, and a PE license. The role emphasizes regulatory knowledge, client communication and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic firm environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8 years of engineering experience with 2+ years in project management.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

Responsibilities

• Lead wastewater projects and manage execution to meet schedule and budget.
• Resolve scheduling, staffing and quality issues across projects.
• Design and develop wastewater treatment and collection systems.
• Prepare plans, specifications and reports for municipal and industrial projects.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, process design and optimization.
• Support biosolids management and anaerobic digestion initiatives.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business growth.
