Job summary

Fehr Graham in Aurora, Illinois is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead wastewater projects. You’ll coordinate firm and external resources to provide technical guidance and services, and you’ll serve as the primary client contact to ensure profitable, timely project execution.

The role emphasizes business development, building client relationships, and managing schedules, staffing and quality across complex projects while maintaining client confidentiality and high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Ten years of project management experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience in wastewater processes and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key client contact and coordinate firm efforts to deliver results.
• Provide technical guidance using firm and external resources.
• Resolve scheduling, staffing, and quality issues to deliver on time and budget.
• Develop business with clients and expand markets.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare client contracts, statements of qualifications and proposals.
• Conduct root cause analysis for project write-offs.
• Ensure work quality and QA/QC across projects.
• Lead junior staff and guide CAD technicians in design.
