Job description

We are looking for a Wastewater Project Engineer with experience in groundwater, water supply, and hydrogeology. The role involves evaluating groundwater sources, performing water availability studies, reviewing well and aquifer data, preparing engineering reports, supporting infrastructure projects, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and assisting with project planning and delivery. You'll also help mentor junior engineers and communicate with clients.

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of groundwater, hydrogeology, or environmental consulting experience
• Experience with groundwater investigations and water availability studies
• Aquifer testing (pumping tests, slug tests, step-drawdown tests)
• Review of well logs, groundwater data, and pumping records
• Groundwater modeling (MODFLOW, SWMM, or similar)
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Knowledge of permitting and engineering regulations
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• California PE or PG license (or actively pursuing it)
