Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Spokane, WA to support the Project Manager in directing day-to-day operations for a wastewater treatment facility. You will assist in contract administration, planning, performance tracking, client communications, and implementing project objectives.

Safety and regulatory compliance are top priorities. The role requires a Group IV WA wastewater operator certificate, several years in operation and maintenance, and supervisory experience, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Group IV Washington state wastewater operator certificate.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in wastewater operation and maintenance, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Understanding of wastewater treatment processes: CEPT/MBR/AA.
• Strong interpersonal and personnel management skills.
• Ability to read/interpret SOPs, O&M manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Proficiency with SCADA, HachWIMS, Maintenance Connection, MS Word/Excel/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Place safety as a top priority and promote a safe culture.
• Lead maintenance staff and support operations and lab teams.
• Assist with planning, organization, and maintenance improvements for SCRWRF.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Support budgeting and procurement activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and external parties.
