Job summary

GEA Group, a global engineering leader, is seeking a Process Engineer to join our North American team. You will support customers by optimizing GEA centrifugal equipment after delivery, support sales development, and spearhead R&D efforts for new product development.

The role involves evaluating and improving processes, starting and commissioning centrifuge equipment, and training customers and colleagues. Travel up to 80% across North America is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of industry experience (renewable/environmental preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Rockwell programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve processes for GEA markets, focusing on mechanical separation.
• Startup and commission GEA centrifuge equipment.
• Support sales initiatives with innovative customer solutions.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining quality.
• Prepare and process samples for spin-down studies and DOE testing.
• Record data in detailed reports and maintain testing equipment.
• Train customers on proper and safe use of GEA equipment.
• Collaborate with Project Engineering on cost-effective solutions.
