Job summary

GEA Group in the United States is seeking a Process Engineer to support customers by optimizing GEA centrifugal equipment, backing sales development, and leading R&D for new products.

Based in the US, you will evaluate processes, startup equipment, train customers, and collaborate with project engineering to deliver cost-effective solutions. Travel up to 80% in North America is required.

A background in chemical engineering and hands-on experience with Rockwell programming are valued.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years industry experience in renewable or environmental sectors preferred
• Microsoft Office knowledge; Rockwell programming a plus

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve processes for GEA Markets focusing on mechanical separation technology
• Startup and commission GEA centrifuge equipment
• Support Sales initiatives with innovative customer solutions
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining quality
• Prepare and process samples for spin down studies and Design of Experiments
• Train customers on proper and safe use of GEA equipment
• Collaborate with Project Engineering to develop cost-efficient solutions
• Read/interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics
