Job summary

Foxmetro is seeking an Operations Technician I to oversee various tasks in the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Responsibilities include monitoring treatment processes, making essential adjustments, and ensuring compliance with EPA regulations. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, relevant experience, and a valid Illinois Wastewater Operators License.

This full-time role offers a competitive starting hourly wage of $24.00 to $32.00 based on qualifications, alongside an excellent benefits package including paid holidays, health benefits, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 3 – 5 years of experience within the Wastewater Industry.
• Knowledge of operating principles and practices in wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wastewater treatment process in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Make process control adjustments as directed.
• Report equipment malfunctions and adjust machinery as necessary.
• Operate treatment process equipment including pumps and compressors.
• Perform cleaning and minor maintenance duties.
