The Flagg Creek Water Reclamation District (FCWRD) is seeking applicants for a Wastewater Operator at its 12 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant. The position operates under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor and performs tasks related to pumping, sludge processing, chemical addition, equipment operation and maintenance, and general labor.

Starting pay scales vary by role: Operator I $90,000–$100,000 with $3,000 signing bonus; Operator II $80,000–$90,000 with $2,000 signing bonus; Operator

Qualifikationen

• Prior experience in wastewater operations preferred.
• IEPA Operator Certification preferred for certain Operator levels.
• High School Diploma or GED required for Laborer role and as baseline qualification.

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine lab/operational tasks as directed.

The Flagg Creek Water Reclamation District (FCWRD) is seeking applicants for a Wastewater Operator at its 12 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant.Previous experience in wastewater operations is preferred.

The FCWRD Wastewater Operator position works under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor and performs a variety of tasks associated with the operation of the wastewater treatment facility including wastewater pumping, sludge processing, chemical addition, equipment operation and maintenance, and general labor.The starting pay scale is as follows, depending on qualifications:

Operator I: $90,000 – $100,000(IEPA Class 1 Required) - $3,000 Signing Bonus

Operator II:$80,000 – $90,000(IEPA Class 2 Required) - $2,000 Signing Bonus

Operator III:$70,000 – $80,000 (IEPA Class 4 Required) - $1,000 Signing Bonus

Laborer: $55,000 (Entry Level)
