Job summary

Freshpet is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician to operate and maintain complex wastewater equipment at our facility in the United States. This role conducts daily checks, routine testing, and maintenance while supporting new equipment implementations to improve reliability and reduce costs.

Strong safety focus and ability to work with vendors and cross-functional teams are required. Responsibilities include documentation of treatment processes, using CMMS for work orders, and

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial wastewater processes and regulatory requirements preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.
• Ability to work with CMMS/BMS systems and document maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment facility equipment including DAFs, UF Skids, dewatering skids, chemical skids, pumps and lab equipment.
• Perform daily checks, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine testing and monitoring of wastewater processes and laboratory analyses.
• Assist with implementing new equipment and technologies to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance; follow CMMS to capture maintenance and work orders.
