Synagro in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a Plant Operator to inspect, maintain, and control process equipment throughout the facility. You will perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance under the Plant Manager and ensure safe, efficient operations while keeping accurate records and complying with permits.

The role requires 2–4 years of operator experience in process plants or similar settings, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to safety and continuous training.

Formación

• Minimum HS Diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years' operator experience in wastewater, steam, or process plant operations or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain, and control process equipment and perform mechanical maintenance throughout the plant.
• Perform preventative, corrective and emergency mechanical maintenance on all equipment under the Plant Manager guidance.
• Identify, troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and document problems and resolutions.
• Monitor and control plant operations in accordance with company policies and SOPs.
• Maintain records of hourly operating data and abnormal conditions; ensure permit compliance and high-quality production.
• Perform fire guard duty and confined space watch.
• Participate in training programs and complete assigned tasks for safe, efficient plant operation.
• Handle general duties such as sweeping, shoveling, and housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain tools and ensure secure storage after use.
