The City of Surprise seeks an operator to support water reclamation facility operations, biosolids handling, and disinfection processes. You will collect compliance samples, perform lab analyses, inspect equipment, conduct minor maintenance, and maintain records to meet permit requirements.

Required: high school diploma or GED. Preferred: 1 year in wastewater utilities or lab work, an Arizona Driver's License, and Arizona Grade 1 WWTP certification by hire (and Grade 1 WWCS within 1 year).

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred candidate will have one year of wastewater utilities and/or laboratory related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Operate water reclamation facilities and biosolids handling.
• Assist with disinfection processes, reclaimed water systems, recharge basins and wells.
• Take compliance samples and perform laboratory analyses.
• Inspect equipment and perform minor maintenance.
• Keep accurate records to meet permit conditions.
