Job summary

Ken’s Foods is seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Operator in Marlborough, MA to support environmental compliance and reliable plant performance. You will operate and monitor the wastewater system, collect samples, and troubleshoot equipment while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with maintenance and vendors.

This hands-on role requires a Massachusetts Class V Wastewater Treatment License (or the ability to obtain one), a high school diploma or GED, and a strong commitment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with wastewater experience or training.
• Massachusetts Class V Wastewater Treatment License.
• Ability to obtain boiler operation license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Commitment to environmental compliance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant and related systems.
• Collect samples, perform water testing, and maintain records.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and work with vendors.
• Monitor aeration, gas compression, centrifuge, scrubber, glycol trap, and related equipment.
• Suggest process improvements and assist spill recovery and cleanup.
• Participate in remote monitoring, on-call coverage, and after-hours response.
