Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical or biological sciences, sanitary, chemical or mechanical engineering with 2–4 years in wastewater treatment and some supervisory experience.
• Associate's degree in physical or biological sciences or engineering with 4+ years in wastewater treatment operations and administration including supervisory experience.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training providing required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and supervises plant operations and leads lead operators.
• Plans shift activities, delegates work and trains staff.
• Develops and enforces safe operating procedures.
• Monitors regulatory compliance and prepares reports for agencies.
