Job summary

ACE is seeking a Wastewater Pipefitter for an industrial construction project in Perryman, MD. This role involves installing a wide variety of piping systems and process equipment, reporting to the Foreman, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have proven piping installation experience, the ability to read construction drawings, and a strong commitment to safety. The position is full-time on active construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing a variety of piping systems and materials.
• Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, joints, and supports.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Highly motivated, dependable, and committed to safety and quality.
• Successful completion of drug screen, physical, and E-Verify required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of process equipment including tanks, pumps, conveyors, centrifuges, and belt filter presses.
• Install interior piping systems, including ductile iron, stainless steel, copper, and PVC.
• Install buried yard piping systems, including mechanical joint and sanitary sewer ductile iron pipe, reinforced concrete pipe, HDPE, and PVC.
• Install pipe appurtenances such as valves, pressure gauges, and pipe specials.
• Install pipe supports and rigging for heavy items.
• Fit threaded and welded pipe joints.
• Conduct pipe testing and repair pipe leaks as needed.
• Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Perform basic layout and surveying tasks.
