Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of construction experience.
• At least 2 years of experience specializing in pipefitting.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience leading crews or small teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise pipefitting crews, typically up to 4 team members.
• Perform hands-on pipefitting work alongside crews.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings to guide installations.
• Lead installation of above ground piping systems, including supports and accessories.
• Lead installation of below ground piping systems while following safe excavation practices.
• Perform and oversee layout, preparation, and assembly of piping systems.
• Conduct and oversee pipe testing in accordance with project requirements.
• Install materials accurately according to contract drawings and specifications.
• Operate and maintain pipefitting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Coordinate with team members, subcontractors, and project staff.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and meets quality and safety standards.
