Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a Wastewater Operator or Trainee for the Provincetown Wastewater Treatment Facility to help operate and monitor treatment process equipment, perform routine maintenance, and support the collection system. The role offers license and certification support, training opportunities, relocation assistance up to $3,000, and a schedule Tue-Sat 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts license in wastewater treatment required within one year
• Hoisting license in Massachusetts required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring treatment process equipment
• Performing routine maintenance on plant systems and equipment
• Conducting laboratory testing and sampling activities
• Supporting collection system operations
• Maintaining facility grounds and overall plant appearance
• Responding to operational issues and aiding regulatory compliance
