Smithfield Foods is looking for a Wastewater Operator in Lincoln, Nebraska, responsible for tending equipment used to decontaminate wastewater, collecting samples, and detecting equipment malfunctions.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of relevant experience, and must acquire Nebraska Class Licenses. This role includes working in diverse conditions and may require night and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' relevant experience and/or training required.
• Nebraska Class I Wastewater License or ability to acquire it within 3 years.
• Nebraska Class I Water License or ability to acquire it within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Tend pumps and equipment for decontaminating wastewater.
• Collect samples and report on processes.
• Detect equipment malfunctions using charts and meters.
