Job summary

WhiteWater seeks an Operator II, Wastewater to operate and maintain designated municipal and private facilities and support the Operations Lead Operator and Supervisor. The role requires on-call rotation with night and weekend coverage.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, at least 3 years in wastewater, a valid 4M Wastewater Operator License (or ability to obtain within 6 months), strong communication skills, computer literacy (MS Office), knowledge of regulatory requirements, OSHA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Wastewater or related industry.
• Valid 4M Wastewater Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Must be computer literate in Windows and MS Office.
• Available after hours and on call work as required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid US Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned wastewater facilities.
• Support the Operations Lead Operator and Supervisor.
• Be part of an on-call rotation with night and weekend coverage as needed.
