Job summary

WhiteWater, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking an Operator II, Wastewater to operate and maintain facilities and to support the Operations Lead Operator and Supervisor. The position includes an on-call rotation with night and weekend coverage.

Requirements include a GED, at least three years in wastewater, a valid 4M Wastewater Operator License (or ability to obtain within six months), strong communication, and computer literacy (Windows/MS Office).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years' experience in wastewater or related industry.
• Valid 4M Wastewater Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Must be computer literate in Windows and MS Office.
• Must be available after hours and on-call work as required.
• Must possess knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
• Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid US Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned wastewater facilities.
• Support the Operations Lead Operator and Supervisor.
• Participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
