Job summary

City of Meridian is hiring Wastewater Operator I/II to operate a Class IV advanced tertiary plant and oversee the recycled water system. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Idaho Class I Wastewater Operator license or OIT or ability to obtain.
• Experience at a wastewater facility is desirable.
• Valid Idaho driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Class IV advanced tertiary wastewater plant.
• Monitor SCADA, collect samples, and perform lab tests.
• Maintain compliance with environmental permits and records.
• Troubleshoot systems, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to alarms.
• Communicate with operations team and prepare SOPs.
