Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Wastewater Operator for a large GMP Life Science Facility in Framingham, MA. The role focuses on reliable system performance, environmental compliance, and safe operations in a high-tech setting.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts 3M Wastewater License is required.
• Massachusetts 1I Industrial Wastewater License is required.
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years relevant experience; combination acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment (pumps, valves, sensors, lift stations, chemical feed systems).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous materials safely while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues, perform emergency repairs, and optimize treatment performance.
• Document inspections, readings, and maintenance activities; support audits and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with facility operations and communicate system status and impacts clearly.
