Job summary
Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking an experienced Wastewater Operator to support daily wastewater treatment plant operations at a premier pharmaceutical life sciences site in Andover, MA. You will ensure regulatory compliance, operate and monitor treatment processes, and document all activities.
The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with Facility Management to maintain continuous operations. Strong troubleshooting and CMMS documentation are essential for success.
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Grade 1 Industrial Wastewater Operator License required.
- Experience in Wastewater Treatment Plant operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs to wastewater treatment mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Operate wastewater treatment systems and maintain 100% uptime.
- Monitor and adjust treatment parameters to optimize performance.
- Inspect equipment, perform minor repairs, and coordinate major repairs.
- Document operations, readings and adjustments in logs and CMMS.
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits and safety protocols.
- Prepare work orders and coordinate with external vendors.
