Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. seeks a 2nd shift wastewater laboratory technician for a facility in Wisconsin. You will operate the wastewater analysis laboratory, manage collection and treatment systems, and ensure regulatory compliance with EPA/state requirements.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year experience in maintenance/wastewater/lab settings, and basic Word/Excel skills. Must be willing to cover other shifts as needed; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ year Maintenance/Wastewater/Lab setting preferred.
• Computer skills: Word and Excel.
• Communication: Good interpersonal communication skills important.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater analysis laboratory.
• Operate and maintain wastewater collection system.
• Operate and maintain wastewater pretreatment system.
• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment system.
• Collect samples for analysis per EPA/state regulations.
• Perform chemical analyses in lab and field.
• Make system adjustments based on analysis results.
