Inframark is hiring! We are looking for a wastewater operator to join our team in Rockdale County/Conyers. You would be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in water or wastewater treatment facilities. We prefer candidates with an active license in Georgia but will consider candidates with relevant experience or education.

Responsibilities

1. Operate a variety of equipment including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, vehicles, etc.
2. Conduct routine testing, monitoring, and maintenance of production wells, water/wastewater unit processes, and basic laboratory analyses.
3. Document treatment processes and maintenance activities, including plant performance metrics.
4. Respond to call outs and emergencies to repair treatment equipment and support systems.
5. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of facilities.
6. Provide customer service when needed.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
8. Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on call.

Qualifications

1. Willingness and aptitude to study and obtain water or wastewater certification.
2. Knowledge of process control, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
3. Ability to perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
4. Knowledge of regulatory rules.
5. Previous water/wastewater treatment experience is desirable.
6. Completion of relevant courses is advantageous.
7. Willing to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Education, Experience, and Skills

Physical Demands
