Pilgrim’s is seeking a dedicated Wastewater Operator in Mount Pleasant, Texas, to operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems, ensuring regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and routine monitoring in a dynamic plant environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, with a valid driver's license and the willingness to learn wastewater processes. Rotating shifts and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment, pumps, valves, and control systems.
• Collect and analyze wastewater samples; record and interpret data for regulatory compliance.
• Adjust chemical feeds, flows, and processes as needed.
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues; perform minor repairs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and safety training.
• Respond to emergency calls or after-hours situations as required.
