Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of project management/supervisory experience in engineering.
• Knowledge of federal contracting and FAR.
• Experience overseeing wastewater treatment/pretreatment facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead wastewater treatment and related plant facilities, supervising operators, supervisors, mechanics, and technicians.
• Coordinate maintenance, emergency repairs, and ongoing plant operations.
• Oversee modifications to chemical and mechanical processes and engineering coordination.
• Drive facility upgrades, equipment replacements, and project execution.
• Manage project-related documentation, pricing, PO contracts, and vendor invoices.
• Evaluate operations and propose improvements to SOPs and standards.
• Resolve operational problems and technical issues.
