Job summary

Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department seeks an Operations and Maintenance Supervisor I to lead a team, monitor facilities via SCADA, and ensure permit compliance. The role involves preventive maintenance, data analysis, and reporting on wastewater treatment and biosolids processes.

The position emphasizes safety, staff training, and coordination with multiple departments to optimize operations and asset management at the Mount Lemmon facility and other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess current ADEQ certification(s) required for the position.
• Four years of experience in operation of an advanced, complex wastewater/water facility or related industry.
• Valid driver license is required at time of application; AZ license also required at appointment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise O&M Technicians and utility staff; plan, assign and review work shifts.
• Monitor and troubleshoot treatment facilities to ensure permit compliance.
• Collect, analyze and report treatment data and lab results; maintain equipment records.
• Coordinate maintenance with other units and manage safety procedures; train staff.
• Prepare reports and utilize SCADA/CMMS data for process optimization and asset management.
