Job summary

City of Madisonville is seeking a Line Maintenance Worker to assist in the construction, maintenance, and cleanliness of the city's wastewater lines and lift stations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in sewer line construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Installs new sewer lines and valves for transfer pumps.
• Maintains and rehabilitates manholes and related structures.
• Repairs pumps and measures buried sewer lines for maintenance.
• Sets up bypass pumps, safety shields, and ventilation in trenches.
• Operates various equipment including trucks and power tools.
• Mows grass at pump stations and keeps shop area clean.
• Follows OSHA confined-space procedures and records permits.
