Job summary

The City of McAllen is seeking a dedicated individual to operate, maintain, and repair wastewater lift stations across McAllen and Alton. Responsibilities include generating daily reports, tracking equipment usage, and performing routine maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, generators, and related infrastructure.

Under general supervision, the role involves lifting 40–50 lbs, working with a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, and following established safety and record-keeping

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair wastewater lift stations across McAllen and Alton.
• Generate daily reports and maintain records on equipment/materials used in the Collection Department.
• Lift 40 to 50 lbs as part of installation, maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, valves, generators and related equipment.
