Job summary

The Roar is seeking a Wastewater Level A Operator to join our team in Millsboro, DE. The selected candidate will understand overall operations and be capable of rebuilding pumps and equipment, with a Level III WW license and at least two years in Direct Responsible Charge.

Responsibilities include overseeing compliance monitoring, safety, water treatment operations, and process control lab work to ensure regulatory adherence and reliable system performance.

Qualifications

• 4 years of acceptable Operating Experience in Wastewater Facilities of Class II or higher; two years in Direct Responsible Charge (DRC).
• Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the control of the overall environmental compliance program for water treatment system; oversight of monitoring and reporting results as required by regulations.
• Adhere to safety requirements, including PPE; manage Lockout/Tagout and Process Safety Management matters.
• Operate the Water Treatment system, maintain maintenance schedule, and respond to repairs.
• Maintain compliance records and perform process control lab work.

Job description

A Wastewater Level A Operator understands most of the overall operations; should be able to rebuild all pumps/equipment. Will have a Level III WW License and have at least two years acting in a position of Direct Responsible Charge.

Duties/Activities Required by Job

• Assist in the control of the overall environmental compliance program for water treatment system. This includes oversight of all required monitoring and reporting sample results required by federal, state and local regulations.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters
• Operation of the Water Treatment system, able to maintain maintenance schedule and respond to repairs.
• Compliance Recordkeeping
• Perform Process Control lab work

Educations/Experience Requirements

• Associate\'s Degree in Science/Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent credit hours in any other curriculum board approved.
• 4 years of acceptable Operating Experience in Wastewater Facilities of Class II or higher; two years in a position of Direct Responsible Charge.
• Level III WW license
