Job summary

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning environmental engineering firm, seeks a Project Engineer to join the New England Wastewater Infrastructure Group. The role focuses on technical design, bidding, and construction of sewer projects, with opportunities in data analysis, hydraulic modeling, and fieldwork across multiple New England locations.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of sewer system experience, a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and an EIT certification.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience related to sewer system condition assessment, design, bidding, and construction.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required; PACP certification preferred or willingness to obtain with company support.

Responsibilities

• Technical design, bidding and construction of horizontal projects (sewer, stormwater/drainage).
• Developing plans and specifications for sewer systems.
• Sewer system flow monitoring.
• Infiltration/Inflow (I/I) assessments, evaluations and reporting.
• Fieldwork for sewer system evaluation surveys (SSES).
• SSES evaluations and reports.
• Hydraulic modeling assistance if interested.
• Data and asset management.
