Jacobs Solutions Inc. in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a dynamic Wastewater Treatment Lead Instrumentation & Controls Specialist to lead design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems for wastewater treatment equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.

You will ensure seamless integration into our processes and document work thoroughly. You will perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and address emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years experience in operation and maintenance of water/wastewater facilities or similar industrial environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to use computer systems and programs (Microsoft Office, HachWIMS) and CMMS.
• Ability to provide leadership and prioritize work on a shift basis.
• Ability to be available for emergencies as needed.
• Experience writing procedure manuals and/or SOPs.
• Ability to apply mathematics to operational tasks (chemical dosing, flow calculations, volumes).
• Experience creating technical documents, publications, and design reports.
• Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, shift work and on-call duty.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation and controls with precision.
• Interface with customers regarding I&C designs and design documents.
• Assess client problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Maintain plant field instrumentation, controls and electrical equipment.
• Develop and implement calibration program for plant instrumentation.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and analyze trend data.
• Review and optimize spare parts inventory and reordering.
• Maintain calibration records per regulatory standards.
• Service and repair plant equipment per vendor guidelines.
• Acquire knowledge of plant logic and control systems; troubleshoot with drawings/diagrams.
• Familiarize with plant manuals, operating procedures, and emergency plans.
