Job summary

The City and County of Denver is seeking a Utility Worker II to support Wastewater Management operations across the city. This role requires performing varied labor on sanitary and storm structures, aiding operators, and maintaining safety in traffic zones.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of unskilled labor experience, a valid Driver's License, and a readiness to work in diverse weather and urban settings. The role offers strong benefits and job stability with DOTI.

Qualifications

• CDL permit or CDL-B is preferred but not required.
• Must be safety minded and able to operate basic equipment.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather and road environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled and light to heavy physical labor on construction, maintenance and repair of sanitary and storm structures.
• Assist equipment operators with pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Work in and around traffic.
• Assist with sanitary jetting and entering/manholes with proper training.
• Assist with Vac Trucks by pulling grates and removing debris.
