Job summary

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Valid Class B Florida Commercial Driver’s License with air brake and tanker endorsements; out-of-state applicants must obtain Florida license within 10 days.
Must obtain MOT, Trenching & Shoring, Confined Space certifications within 1 year.
Experience operating heavy equipment for sewer systems preferred.
Physical ability for heavy manual labor and outdoor work.

Responsibilities

Operate medium/heavy equipment to construct/repair sewer mains, manholes and lift stations.
Assist with general construction and labor tasks on sewage collection systems.
Load haul materials and perform routine equipment maintenance.
Communicate work progress to customers and supervise when required.
Work rotating emergency call-out and possible overtime.
Follow safety rules and operate around utilities.
