Job summary

City of Portland seeks a wastewater asset management professional to evaluate asset failures, prioritize repairs, and coordinate mitigation and construction work across the system.

You will review development, utility relocation, and capital project plans for compliance and asset protection; identify preventative maintenance needs, improve procedures, and represent Operations and Maintenance on committees.

Qualifications

• Experience with wastewater collection system operations and maintenance.
• Public works design and construction practices.
• Asset management and risk assessment.
• Complex engineering project planning and problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Must hold a Professional Engineer registration from another state at hire and obtain Oregon PE certification within six months of hire.
