Job summary

Synagro is seeking a Project Manager to lead operational improvement, capital, maintenance, and compliance projects across wastewater and biosolids facilities. You will coordinate engineering, maintenance, procurement, and customers to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The role requires strong PM skills, technical knowledge of wastewater processes, and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams while travels up to 50% for onsite work and outages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, environmental science, operations management, business, or related discipline required; equivalent directly related experience may be considered.
• Progressive project management experience in wastewater treatment, biosolids, water treatment, utilities, or similar environments.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, contractors, change orders, commissioning, and handover.
• Familiarity with process equipment such as pumps, piping, tanks, conveyors, dewatering, electrical systems, instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop project charters defining scope, objectives, responsibilities, budget, schedule, risks, and success measures.
• Create and maintain project work plans, milestone schedules, risk registers, and cost forecasts.
• Lead project kickoff, design reviews, construction readiness, progression, commissioning, handover, and closeout.
