Job summary

HDR is seeking a Wastewater BIM Modeler to produce Revit process mechanical drawings and BIM models for municipal and industrial wastewater projects. You will maintain discipline models, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, and ensure documentation aligns with project delivery schedules.

You will leverage Rhino/Grasshopper, Python scripting, and Revit APIs to optimize workflows, perform clash checks, and support digital delivery standards across HDR’s Madison and regional projects.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experience.
• 3D design software and document management proficiency.
• MS Office and collaboration tools competency.
• Experience with 3D Coordination tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
• Revit process mechanical drafting experience.
• 5+ years on wastewater projects.
• Experience in consulting on municipal/industrial projects.
• Advanced Revit modeling and parametric families.
• Rhino and Grasshopper familiarity.
• Python scripting/Revit API knowledge desirable.
• Bluebeam Revu familiarity.
• Interoperability between Revit, Rhino and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Produce Revit process mechanical drawings for wastewater projects.
• Create BIM models from design markups and schematic design for construction delivery.
• Maintain discipline model, systems, content and digital delivery output.
• Coordinate design with other discipline models through Reviews and 3D coordination.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar.
• Assist with document control and project filing.
• Develop understanding of HDR quality management systems.
