Job summary

Magnolia Plumbing, LLC is hiring a Wastewater Apprentice for our Laurel, MD office. This entry-level role trains you to assist wastewater technicians with sewer line cleaning, pump servicing, and overall wastewater management in residential and commercial settings.

You will gain hands-on experience operating stormwater facilities and pump systems, with ample opportunity for trade skills growth and career development within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card; assistance will be provided.
• Willingness to learn how to operate company vehicles, pump trucks, and wastewater equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Drain Cleaning Technicians and CDL Pump Truck Operators on job sites with completing assigned work.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining sewer lines, drains, grease interceptors, septic tanks, and wastewater systems.
• Support the servicing and maintenance of stormwater and sewage ejector systems.
• Learn how to operate and maintain wastewater management equipment and pump systems.
• Assist with setup, operation, and cleanup of equipment at residential and commercial job sites.
• Drive company vehicles and tow equipment as assigned and authorized.
• Learn to safely operate various company vehicles and equipment.
• Follow instructions from technicians and supervisors to complete daily assignments.
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling practices when working with wastewater and septic materials.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, based on workload and business needs.
