Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, a leading environmental engineering firm, is seeking a Wastewater Process and AI Engineer to advance innovation and digital transformation in treatment facilities across North America. You will blend wastewater process engineering with AI/ML, advanced process modeling, and digital twins to improve performance and reliability.

Working with the Director of Technical Delivery, Innovation and Transformation, you will develop, test, and implement practical solutions with utility

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in process engineering or related field.
5+ years preferred at intersection of wastewater engineering, modeling, data science, or digital tech.
Experience with AI/ML and process optimization is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze data to create basis process models.
Develop chemical/physical/biological process models and analyze data for trends.
Support testing of innovative AI-enabled solutions.
Lead small tasks under supervision and mentor junior staff.
Document findings and communicate results to project teams.
