Job summary

Pilgrim's in Live Oak, FL is seeking a Waste Water Plant Operator to maintain and monitor our facility’s wastewater treatment processes. The role requires adherence to safety standards and successful operation of treatment equipment, laboratory testing, and data logging.

Ideal candidates will hold a water or wastewater certification or be able to obtain one, have strong math and communication skills, and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and walk stairs.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain a state water/wastewater certification if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater plant and monitor equipment.

Waste Water

Operator will be responsible for ensuring proper operation of the wastewater plant

New hires will have to demonstrate the ability and desire to obtain a state certification

Duties and responsibilities

Plant operation, water testing, data recording, and computer skill. Operator will be alert to conditions at all times, record operation in log and communicate with Supervisor and other operation flexible on hours changes if need for plant operation

Qualification

• Communicate in both oral and written
