Job summary

Compass Group USA ESFM in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Trash Technician for a full-time role with 1st and 3rd shift options. You will collect, transport, and dispose of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols, and assist with cleaning tasks as needed.

Prior experience is preferred but not required; must be able to lift 50–100 pounds and follow written and oral instructions in English. ESFM offers a robust benefits package for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
