ESFM, the Compass Group USA facility management division, is hiring for a full-time TRASH TECHNICIAN at 9798 Smith Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. The role offers day and night shifts Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Sunday, with training provided and no prior experience required.

You will collect, transport, and dispose of trash and bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols, operate cleaning equipment, and support environmental health and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
