Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Laborer to safely and efficiently perform general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center or landfill.

Responsibilities include cleaning up work areas, fueling vehicles and equipment, operating site vehicles, mowing, janitorial tasks and other duties as assigned. This role supports the company’s safety standards and values in a fast-paced environment, offering opportunities to contribute to community and environmental goals.

Qualifications

• Experience performing general labor tasks is beneficial.
• Ability to operate basic site equipment.
• Commitment to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas
• Fuel vehicles and equipment
• Clean track on track type and related equipment
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick up
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pick up trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, etc.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work
• Install temporary wind fences, as required
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
