Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Laborer to safely perform general labor duties at hauling sites, transfer stations, recycling centers or landfills. Responsibilities include yard clean-up, fueling vehicles, operating equipment, and basic maintenance.

The role involves working at various site locations and performing related duties as assigned. Candidates should be ready to contribute to a team focused on safety and efficiency across our operations.

Qualifications

• Experience performing general labor tasks.
• Ability to operate basic site vehicles.
• Willingness to perform maintenance and cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas at sites.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Clean track on track-type equipment.
• Perform yard work including mowing and paper pickup.
• Operate site vehicles such as water trucks, pickups, sweepers, and mowers.
• Assist with office maintenance and repairs including painting.
• Install temporary wind fences as required.
• Direct traffic at sites when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
