Job summary

Recology is seeking a Laborer at the Ridgecrest Landfill. You will help keep the site clean, direct public vehicles to tipping areas, collect litter and recyclables, and assist with daily operations under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required) and a valid driver's license. This role involves hands-on, outdoor work in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Valid Driver's License Required.

Responsibilities

• Spots or directs public vehicles to appropriate tipping area.
• Picks up blown litter on adjoining roads.
• Picks up metal or other recyclable materials from tipping area.
• Brings full litter garbage bags to pick-up truck or tipping area.
• Relieves Spotter during lunch break and other times, as needed.
• Repairs drainage flumes.
• Moves and/or constructs wind fences.
• Other duties as assigned
